Greetings, iam Trudy Gatesy, Have a splendid day!

Oh no! Springfield XDM is discontinued - what a bummer! It was such a great gun, too. I guess all good things must come to an end. Still, it’s hard to believe that this reliable firearm is no longer available. I mean, it had everything you could want in a gun - accuracy, power and style. Ah well, at least we can still remember the good times we had with the Springfield XDM!

When Was The Springfield Xdm Discontinued? [Solved]

Wow, that’s a bummer! The XD-E was the only slim subcompact 9mm double action/single action out there, so it’s a real shame it’s been discontinued. It had been around since 2017 when the base model was launched, but come December 2021 Springfield Armory pulled the plug.

  1. Discontinuation of Springfield XDM: Springfield Armory has officially discontinued the production of its popular XDM line of handguns.

  2. Reasons for Discontinuation: The company cited a lack of demand and rising costs as the primary reasons for discontinuing the product line.

  3. Impact on Customers: Customers who already own an XDM will still be able to find parts and accessories, but those looking to purchase a new one will have to look elsewhere.

  4. Alternatives Available: There are several other manufacturers that offer similar products, such as Smith & Wesson’s M&P series or Glock’s G19/G17 models, which may be suitable alternatives for those looking for a similar handgun experience.

Well, that’s a bummer! Springfield XDM has been discontinued, so if you were looking to get your hands on one, you’re out of luck. It was a popular gun, but unfortunately it’s no longer available. Oh well - there are plenty of other great guns out there!
