It’s no wonder why it’s called the ‘Pole of Cold’. But what exactly is this place? Well, it’s a small village in Siberia called Oymyakon. Talk about feeling the chill!

Wow! Klinck weather station in central Greenland is the coldest place in the Arctic Circle, beating Oymyakon’s record by a whopping 2 degrees back in ‘91. Talk about chilly! But unfortunately, much of Greenland’s ice is melting at an alarming rate.
